Picture(s) of the Day- Thaipusam Festival

OK- it's too late to go in to the details, but the long story short is that we went to this ridiculously awesome festival today in Little India.... and it went something like this.....

Yup, its what it looks like it is. Skewers going through their faces, tongues and in to their skin to support the canopies they carry. 

Ouch.
